The
Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is
an important sports ground (stadium) in Sydney, Australia. The ground is used
for One Day International cricket, 5/4 days Test cricket, Twenty-20 cricket and
Australian Rules football. In sometimes, some rugby league football and rugby
union matches are held in this ground. The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is the home ground for the New South
Wales Blues cricket team, the Sydney Sixers of Big Bash League and the Sydney
Swans Australian Football League Club. The ground is owned and operated by the Sydney Cricket Ground Trust that also
manages the Sydney Football Stadium which is located the next door. Until the arrangement
of 44,000 seated Football Stadium was opened in the year of 1988, the Sydney
Cricket Ground (Stadium) was Sydney’s major rugby league Stadium in Australia.
